Boost up my ladder and I'll boost up yours.
The scene: Vena Cava at Milk Studios, a show-presentation combo with the Fiery Furnaces playing live. Models walked then perched atop ladders strewn about the runway so we could rush in for inspection post-show.
The goods: The punkiness of the ’80s shined through in the form of exposed zippers, safety pins, cutouts, bustiers, graphic prints, and body-hugging fabrics, with rad visors from Yestadt Millinery topping things off. Respectable ladies need not shy away because, while hardened, this collection was still the beautiful and tailored Vena Cava we love to love.
